Hi I am new to DC but not new to the big D … Lol … Well anywho I was at my Endo yesterday and to make a long story short I have been dealing with ongoing hypoglycemia. My doc decided after an hour long talk and finally thought she might and I say that loosely because her and I have been down that hypoglycemia road before that she wants to do an ACTH test because she thinks my adrenal glands are shot from years of use of prednisone for an auto immune disease I have, of which two of them I used 60 mg continuously … My question is or are has anyone ever had test done and or suffered from this problem ? Also if so what was your outcome and solution ? Thank you so very much for your responds :) !!!!

Hello Lady, i am not sure what ACTH stands for. I get cortisone shots every 3 months and I also take Prednisone all of the time. I have my cortisol levels checked and my adrenal glands and thyroid checked every 3 months. My levels were ok except for my cortisol. I have to stop those for a while. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Have a great day. Hugz..
