Hello there everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!! As a diabetic, it's no surprise that I have to be constantly using moisturizers, exfoliating and so forth in order to keep it smooth, healthy and beautiful… However, I wonder if I'm using the proper products, cause right now I mostly buy a skin moisturizer with my nose: Does it smells good??? LOL!!! But I don't think this is a smart way of taking care of my skin. Would like to know from you, about easy to find products, that can help me take care of my skin. Thanks in advance for your feedback!!! :))))

I've been using Hylunia Products, Exton, PA: ( since the early-mid 1990's. My skin is flawless at age 72. I love their products. I use the daily faical moisturizer daily and the Super Anti-Oxidant Night Moisturizer nightly. Also use the Beyond C twice a day. These products are sensational. Their Healing & Restoring Cream repairs dry, patching skin and improves ugly cracked feet. I bless the day they teamed up with my make-up artist's shop.

For my face I use the Clinique cosmetic line. The All about Eyes gel is wonderful for puffiness and discoloration from my thyroid issues etc. I use the entire line, make up remover, soap, astringent, and moisturizing lotion. Finish with the eye gel and done. Twice a week I use the exfoilater wash too. Seems like a lot but it is just routine for me I have used it so long.

For dry skin I use a mixture of St. Ives Intensive Healing lotion and liquid Vitamin E. Combine them together and my skin is awesome! No dry cracked skin here or heels for that matter. Got both these products at WalMart, inexpensive too!

For moisture I use coconut oil. The kind you cook with. It is simple, pure and soaks right in. Makes my rough skin smooth and doesn't cause me to break out. I love it because it doesn't have all the junk in it that so many lotions have.

I have good experience with Aveeno Moisturizing Oil for my arms & legs. Not greasy. Just ordered on today as other newer products have pushed it off the shelves at local stores.

I use an Aloe Cream and Shea Butter almost year round. I also use Eucerin and Dove Creamy moisturizing body wash. I have a friend who makes and sells natural body exfoliating body scrubs, and I use those which work great for me.

If this is a continuing problem you should see a dermatologist about what kinds of products to use that is best for your skin type.

I use the Nivea restorative 24 hr moisturizer it really works great for me … I am on my 3rd bottle…lol for me that means it works. I used to but these small tubes and try them and I would get half way thru and I would have to but a new one to try out cause that one didn't work… My husband always said another one for the cemetery …lol …so for the first time I am actually stuck with one kind !!!!

Hello MarluzLopez.. I have used Oil of Olay Products for many years. I never use soap, cleaners, scrubs on my face nor did my mother or grandmother. I use just plain hot water and I wash my face several times a day. My face is always hydrated, and my skin is soft. I drink a lot of water. I am proud to say that at my age I have very little wrinkles (almost none) and I always wear sunscreen and sunglasses when I venture outside. Rain or Shine. I hope this helps. Have a great day.
