I started using soy because my doc told me to. Then after reading posts here, I tried coconut over the holidays. I had some coconut eggnog that was to die for. I will look for it again next year! I just hope it is still on my diet. Every doc I go to seems to have different ideas about what I can and cannot eat.

Anyways, I am drinking coconut milk now. If anyone has any questions, or input, it is of course welcome…just try and be nice about it. All this eating and what I can and cannot have is a bit unnerving.

I'm not a milk drinker but I've tried rice and soy to use in my cereal. But since diagnosed I only use a bit of cream in my coffee. But I would stay away from soy, as a female I don't think its very good for us. Plays with our hormones.

I have no hormone troubles but I drink almond milk now anyways. You can get the almond milk in dark chocolate, my favorite…yum!

Hi James. I am not sure. I have no food in the house right now. None. I am out and my payee has not sent me money I can use for food and my food stamps do not come in til the 8th. When I get some more milk in the house, I will try to answer your question, ok?

no Almond Milk? I liked almond milk until I realized that it probably had potassium in it and that is hard on kidneys, I have a can of coconut milk in my cupboard. I'll have to check it out.

When my coconut milk is gone, I am going back to Almond milk. Coconut milk tasts flat. I like the vanilla almond and dark choco. almond. I can use the potassium because I am often low in it and the pills are aweful.

Yes I heard the pills are terrible as my "Jem" had to take them when she was alive.

Yes, they are huge and very salty and I hate salt of any kind. The liquid makes me feel lik.e pucking when I am treated to that drink of the eve. Blaaa
