I know its a bit early, but I always start my ideas for my resolutions early, that way they have a time to "sink in before actually doing them.

This year my resolutions are to exercise more and stop smoking…I know these are pretty much normal resolutions, but I have never made them before…and now I'm doing them because of the complications due to my diabetes…

What is everyone else planning on doing…I might "steal" some ideas

I haven't made any resolutions in years because I have never been able to keep them. LOL However, I have decided to live day by day and do the best I can each day, think positive, and take care of my health to the best of my ability.

Mine are usually so hard I end up breaking them. This year I plan to make some that I can follow. Right now I can only think of one,,,,I need to get out of the house more.

I usually do so many that I get overwhelemed and don't do any of them. LOL. So this year I am going to clean house, unclutter my area, take a deep breath and make short list.

I am looking at a career change, as the economy seems to want to kill me. I am looking into going back to school. OH MY! I never thought I would be doing that.

I am also striving to get my numbers into a normal range by March of 09. That will mark a year. If I am not, I will stive to beg borrow or steal to get into the lab to get my tests done and get the meds I need.

I will also have a goal to continue to loose weight at about 4-8 pounds a month. Seems slow, but I know if it goes that way, it will stay away. Wooo Hoo!

Finally (well sort of) I plan to find a way to be involved in next years' WDD. I was so shocked at how little is was touted here in the states and I don't want that to be the case next year.

So those are the ones that I am going to have on my list...there will be other and revised ones as the year goes on, but they are a start.
