Howdy Annon

Not sure what you're trying to ask.

Are you experiencing painful diabetic neuropathy? I don't think that they'll admit you soley for that reason. And also if you do not want to be admitted to the hospital you have the right to refuse to be admitted. And a Blood Glucose (BG) of 350 while high is not high enough for them to keep you. My late wife had a BG of over 600 (as high as the meter could read) and she was not admitted. They did keep her overnight in a room in the ER and put in an IV drip of insulin and watched her closely until her BG levels came down closer to normal.

Do you have a telephone number for the ER and talk to a nurse about whether you should come in with a BG of 350 with your pain or not. You shouldn't have to suffer like this. There is, however not much they can do about your neuro pain to stop it except to give you some pain relieving medication.

I went last night and they just gave me pain meds for my feet and preached to me about my blood glucose lv.
