I just found a red blot below my iris of my left eye. Apparently I have had this since Saturday. I dont know if I should be worried or not. I havent had my yearly eye exam yet. So is this something I should be worried about? Thank you

Of course only a pofessional exam would be most telling. Here is my similar experience. About a year or so ago I woke with what sounds like the same description as yours in my left eye. The opthomologist said it was just a broken capillary which can happen from a violent sneeze or cough, etc. He assured me it would clear up, and it did.
This is not the same as bleeding capillaries inside the eye, caused by high bg. So, if it is what it sounds like, don't sneeze anymore, and you'll be fine! Just kidding, seriously though, it sounds like the same situation that I had, and if it is, you'll be just fine.

Last eye exam I was told I had bleeding in one eye … That @ time of exam it was minor but that if I continued to have uncontrolled high blood sugars that it would get worst and likely lead to blindness … I was also told that if I got my blood sugar levels down that the bleeding would stop in its own and that it would be fine … I relayed this info to my doctor … He was pretty much in agreement … Get it checked out might not be serious but y take a chance …

I've had these, my eye doctor didn't seem too concerned. Check this out and see if it applies
I don't mess around with my eye health, so if none of this fits, I'd make an appointment just to be sure. Diabetes and eyes are nothing you want to take a chance on. Hugs that it is nothing.
