Ladies,
I know that we (men) can work yoir last nerve (it's not intentional, honest) and we do try to make it up to you at some point (a romantic dinner, diamond rings, flowers) but if the stress that is in your life is not being caused by us, this may interest you:

What causes depression in women?

Scientists are examining many potential causes for and contributing factors to women’s increased risk for depression. It is likely that genetic, biological, chemical, hormonal, environmental, psychological, and social factors all intersect to contribute to depression.

Scientists are also studying the influence of female hormones, which change throughout life. Researchers have shown that hormones directly affect the brain chemistry that controls emotions and mood. Specific times during a woman’s life are of particular interest, including puberty; the times before menstrual periods; before, during, and just after pregnancy (postpartum); and just prior to and during menopause (perimenopause).

We (men) can't take the blame for those listed above, but if we are the cause of your depression in life, a few days in the "dog house" should suffice, (it's cold out there!)

Thank you very much for setting my mind right about men. Yes, the doghouse is cold, but equally so for women.

Lol…True, but we men seem to be sent there much more often than womem!
Wait a minute, women are never sent to the dog house, they send us there…Lol!

Aww but you look so cute when you get sent to them. I think if people communicated better and took responsibility for what they know they should be doing, dog houses would only be for the dog.

Lol Joyce, being sent to the dog house really isn't that bad (at least i can get some rest) the curious part is this, " Why do we have a dog house when we don't even have a dog?! "…Hmmmm, something just is not right about that!

Thanks Mays, don't get me started on the differences between men and women. Women are very deep and it takes a different kind of man to actually have the courage to venture into a woman's heart! Yeah we do get weird sometimes, but with age we also learn so much, and one of the key things would be, that things can only get to you if you allow them! I feel like I am a constant fighter against everything when diagnosed with D doctor asked if along with my insulin would I like something for depression. Huh do they come hand in hand was my thought, I said "no thank you!" it's tough when hormones and life all play a factor towards BG readings, so every day for my poor hubby can probably mean yay or nay, we have a very comfortable doggie home! Lol!

Set, I am trying to find out why women are so angry. Today it seems that no matter how nice you are to some people they get nasty. I notice this a lot in women of all ages. I see them cursing their kids, the person with them, their spouses simply because they were asked a question.

I saw a woman come out of a carry out resturant. Her boyfriend was waiting in the car. He got out to open the door because her hands were full. She cussed him out and threw a soda in his face. He slapped her so hard she fell on the ground. He told her find your way home and never ever contact me again. He got in the car and left. She called the police and asked for witnesses. When a fellow bus rider told the officer what happened the officer told her she was the one who assaulted him first and said she could be arrested if he pressed charges. She decided she didn't need the police.

I see this all the time. A woman got mad with me today because I would not sell her one of my jewelry displays. She even went to the Flea Markets office and was told they can't make vendors sell anything they don't want to sell. Why be nasty because someone was holding a door for you, or said you could not have something. I don't think hormones can be raging so much it makes you a very nasty and mean person.

Joyce, I believe it's all about attitude I could spend every day being Nasty and mean to others while feeling sorry for myself because I have D! I don't though I have an attitude that I am going to take of IT because it belongs to me, and I want to be happy and enjoy life so there's no reason to be sad or down. Like you I see so much pain and hurt in others with my work, I want to continue to help others and in order to do so I have to take care of ME!

Set, it is about attitude. Sometimes people get depressed because they have allowed so many things to pile up with no action taken to help relieve the stresses in day to day life.

We all have to take care of ourselves first before we can help others. Like you I own my diabetes. I don't make anyone else responsible for my well being. When you take care of your own health you are in charge, making others responsible by reminding you to test or take your meds or keep you on track is giving others responsibilities they may not want.

You and I see people in pain or struggling nearly every day and if we aren't up to helping them then we fail them and people can only take so much failure in life. Keep up the good work.

You are a special woman indeed, and very wise.
There is nothing weird about a woman, we just need to know what makes them tick…lol.
Diabetes, depression and hormones are constant companions competing for our attention and it can wreck havoc on us, maybe i can blame diabetes and depression for sending me to the "dog house" but then again maybe the sad "puppy dog" look will generate some sympathy for me, if not i guess that sooner or later i will learn my lesson…maybe…Lol!

Actually, the thing many men would like to know about a woman is not what makes her tick, but instead what makes her purr! Lol!

Yes you men can work my only functioning nerve however, as a female who suffered from depression for years, I know that depression can be caused by many sources for both men and women.

I can have it heated if necessary. Heat and A/C so it can be used year round…Heated walkway to melt snow and an awning for shade…I am very resourceful…LOL

Sad to say, I'll have to pass up on that offer, sharing the dog house with the dog doesn't seem like much fun…Better to keep my mouth shut and behave rather than to be sent to the dog house (air conditioning and heat withstanding!)

James, actually, no.
I am still waiting for my "pool boy" application to be approved, while i am waiting i guess that i will brush up on my resume', a few crunches here and there to reduce and tighten up the midsection and a little receading hairline treatment should do the trick of making me an acceptable "pool boy"…i hope!
