This time I have to follow through. My numbers are just too high even for what I have been eating. It is really starting to scare me sooooooooooo-
I have to make a success of this resolution. My last two endo's have quit their practice and moved on so I don't have a specialist at this time. I am really going to eat right and see what happens. I am taking Lantus with Humalog as a back up. Until the past 6 mos I haven't had to use the Humalog. Now my numbers are so high that I end up using it several times a day. I really hate low Blood Sugar-so I usually keep myself over 100 to avoid the shakes and sweats. I am writing about my commitment so that I might have a better chance of following through
Happy New Year to everybody. This is still my favorite site, but I don't have acess during the summers much. Wishing you all joy, peace and health in 2013.

I do wish you the best. I wish it wasn,t so hard for you. Why is it so hard? why do you let your disease control your body? As I've said before, why do you let your disease love your body more than you do? Bottom line you have to ask yourself these questions, how long do I want to live? How well do I want to feel? How healthy do I want to be? Answer these questions and you will do anything you put your mind to. Forget resolutions, just give yourself permission to change your life, because you can.

I need to do better too, if i go back to when I started & had the best success, they told me to pick my carb for dinner, if I want dessert— then no bread, if I want the pasta skip bread & dessert, If I do want a carb try to find one where the fiber is over 4, it takes the body longer to turn the high fiber carbs into sugar to it won't spike your numbers & it makes the body work harder, that rule really helped because I was in control of what I wanted to eat and I tried to take a short walk after a meal & that helped my numbers drop quite a bit, I'm getting over bronchitis so I need to start again when I can breath in this cold weather
best wishes for 2013
