merry christmas from down under
Hello everybody, Iwould like to wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year. I am going away tomorrow and wont be back til after christmas. So be good and be safe and I will catch up with you all next year. p.s. as I will be seeing santa before most of you can I give him your wish lists ha ha. thanks for being my friend and helping me through the tough times.

It's nice to hear from an Aussie! My wife worked with a group of Aussies at Lockheed, Fort Worth, TX while they were here enhancing some of their F-111 jet fighters. They were all in the Royal Air Force and were a fun, crazy bunch. They always joked about things being "upside down" there - at the bottom of the Earth. They were from the Melbourne area. I wish your accent would come through on your postings! I miss hearing that. Their biggest obstacle here was learning to drive on the "right" side of the road, as opposed to driving on the "left" like you do. Of course the vehicles they were used to driving are right hand drive, rather than left hand drive like we have. Big change!
If I remember correctly, aren't you in summer now? Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Thanks for your greeting and don't nibble on too much junk. :o) Hopefully I'll practice what I preach!!!! LOL

yes we are in summer at the moment, it is my nieces turn to host xmas and she is also diabetic so the food should be ok, but I still might nibble a little bit, it was good to hear from you too
