Hi Ann,
For ready made goods, I suggest this place for great low carb sweets. http://www.vivalowcarb.com/?gclid=COn3_Pj_nLQ...
You can even buy online!
Thanks Caron, Have you tried anything there? the brownies look pretty good and not to pricey.
I've had the Yes cookies and they were good. A bit pricey but good.
Ann, I don't recall telling you that you could have another cookie…LOL actually I forgot. When I first had the sugar free pudding, I did not like it to much. Then I tried the chocolate and liked it quite well. I bought the kind you make yourself and it was even better.
I have tried the sugar free cake at a supermarket bakery and found it to be too moist. I have also tried the sugar free TastyKakes (I don't think they are sold nationwide) and found them to be pretty good.
I do like the sugar free apple pie that I get from Amish Markets. The ones from regular supermarkets need to be cooked a little longer. I buy the supermarket version and bake them a little longer and add more cinnamon to them. They turn out perfectly. At the Amish Market I also had them make sugar free Chocolate Chip cookies and they could not keep them on the shelves. They used regular mini chocolate chips which added just enough sweetness to them.
I have a recipe for Sugar Free Thumbprint cookies which are easy to make because you can use a mixer to make them. I have not made them as yet. When I find the recipe I will post it. I will post one for Easy Strawberry Mousse that is delicious.
Baking isn't that hard to do. I use to help mom make cakes and cookies growing up. She taught me how to bake cakes and mine are still as good as hers. Don't ask me to bake a box cake. I never get them right because I bake from scratch.
Uh-Oh Im in trouble forgot to ask..hehe
So i went to my local grocery store today found a few sugar free with a few less carbs but ended up getting reg. chip ahoy chewy fudge in the middle cookies for 2 of those @ 21 carbs..instead of 1 of mcdonads @ 21 carbs.not much better i know..but im trying to wing myself off the mcdonalds one I saw a sugar free chocolate chip 3 cookies 18carbs..those will be my next step down..hope after a while my craving will fade all together.rub it my face that you can bake joyce..don't say anything when im on my way to were ever you live..lol
LOL I stopped baking. I get the sugar free chocolate chip cookies made by Murrays. Wal-Mart carries them as does some of our local stores. You can bake it just takes patience and a few mistakes to get it right.
mistakes like burning down the kitchen..lmao…hugs
I did not need that visual…lol
that would be a bit extreme of a mistake
I'm being dramatic James.. Just having a lil fun.
LoL!
Have you tried our recipe section on the left. There are many types of desserts, including chocolate chip cookies. This is if you wish to make your own or you can do as James has suggested and order from the internet.
yes Re1ndeer, I was gonna suggest that as well, until I read her title carefully . She wants ready made goodies, that is why I answered as I did.
You'll have to order them, but check out some of these vendors here ~ http://www.sugarlessdelite.com/ ~ http://www.vivalowcarb.com/?a_aid=onlylowcarb ~ http://www.locarbconnection.com/servlet/Store... ~ http://www.lindasdietdelites.com/ ` also in Las Vega,s where I live, there is Mrs williams ~ http://www.mrs-williams.com/secure/orderform.... I have been there a time or two and their goodies were delicious.
Perhaps you could do an internet search on YP.com and select the city you may be in or closest to and search for "bakeries" and go through the listings till you find one which may meet your desires.
Happy hunting!
James
Thanks James..I was gonna try Mrs williams but she is a little pricey for me and, with the other vendor I'm not comfortable with ordering from them unless someone here has tried them..the world is a little crazy and i guess it makes me a little paranoid..thank you
Not fair you can walk in stores and buy all kinds of carb loaded treats as if we don't exist..:(
There is a saying (don't know who said it first) "Just because you're PARANOID, doesn't mean they're NOT out to 'get you'"
LOL
cindygal1 likes that too
