I went to the Y today. I took everyone's advice and it worked out great for me. Thank you everyone who gave me tips on how to control my BG when exercising. I checked my bg before exercise and it was 179. Normally I would use insulin but I didnt. I shortened my time in the pool from 1 hr. last week to 1/2 this week then I went to the hot tub for 15 min. After getting dressed, I checked my bg and it was 154. Still, I would have used insulin, but I didnt. I decided to give it a chance to stabelize on its own. I ate a 6" turkey sub when I got home. Before eating, I had checked it again and it was at 145. So no intervention was needed Again, thank you to everyone who gave me replies to my post last week.
