I've had T1 diabetes for almost 20 years of my 22. During my whole experience I've always been terrified of needles but I knew to survive I'd have to suck it up and do what needed to be done. Lately I'm having trouble and I don't know, I thought maybe talking to someone might help. I use an insulin pump and I'm equipment with an inserter. I still always try but my new inserter has two buttons you have to hit simultaneously and for me that's just not that easy. What ends up happening is right before I put my site in I "stutter" and it goes in wrong. So if you have problems like this or similar I'd love to hear your strategies.

Ps. Sorry if this seems of the way I just had another site mess up and I didn't catch it till 3am.

I don't care for needles myself but first I had shots then I got a pump … I have one by Medtronic and I use the Mio infusion set which is super easy and PAIN free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe u should check into a different infusion set …
