MATURE Teen diabetics want to talk?

I'm 13 t1 diabetic, I want someone to talk to, none of my "friends" are really supportive of me.

Hey there! I am 16 and just got diagnosed 3 months ago ! Recently i lost the support of one of my friends who said i am too sad about my diabetes… And said its too hard to handle my sadness… But if she isnt going to support me through this then she isnt a good friend and one i dont need to be around . If you wanna talk id love to help out :)

I"m not a teen, I'm 26 but I was diagnosed 5 years ago, when I was 21. It's definitely been a long hard struggle for me so far. I take 5 shots a day, every day. My glucose levels are so sporadic I constantly have to check them throughout the day, sometimes hourly. If you need someone to talk to, I will listen. I know its hard. I want someone to talk to too. I have no one who understands what I'm going through.

Our teen membership is growing here. I hope they find you and you guys can chat. If you need to get some things off your chest, we are here to help. I am out of touch in a lot of way with all the cool gadgets you guys use, but if you are willing to talk to an old "fart", I'm here for you.
