My name is Crystal as it says below but my blood sugars has been high since my diagnosis (1-1-12) my normal is 70-150 but my blood sugars have been 200+ i do exercise like i would walk around the house for a while, i clean my room to exercise and cycle with my friends. I have been under A LOT of stress lately, i think i am starting to have depression. Your thoughts on how to make my blood sugars lower? (Insulin: 70/30) (Insulin Doseage: 34/17 i change it once in the morning and half in the afternoon, i do shota 2 times a day)

Stress can raise numbers as well. Taking some time to find out what is triggering your stress and then finding a constructive way to release it may help. If it continues, you really want to talk to your doctor about it and see if some med adjustments is required.

I’m a T2, so can’t really go into the medication/insulin issues.
Stress sure has an effect on numbers though, and for me exercise tends to make me go higher. Sometimes even being the least bit sick changes things too – not necessarily sick enough for you to notice either. Your numbers otherwise sound pretty good.
Your body isn’t going to consistently react to foods or meds throughout your life, it’s a constant balancing act. I have very, very routine (to the point of boring) eating habits that keep me in line.
Check your diet – are you eating a little differently lately? Stress eating maybe? Not eating enough?
I’d also check with your doctor. You may need med adjusting.
Just my thoughts with what little I know about you.
And hey, welcome to the group!
