The log book part of this site ROCKS!
I guess I could start by saying that yes, I wish there were a way to add notes, BUT…the whole idea of seeing in color my progress…WOW!
My first couple weeks had mostly red and a couple yellow. The next couple weeks mostly yellow and a few green, a couple more weeks, and more green than yellow!…no red days for a while!!!!! I am using this pro-actively to keep my doctor informed and I have to say it is the best thing (next to my actual glucometer) to keep me motivated!

I just joined the site and I think the Log Book is awesome. I take care of my husband who has Type 2. I am hoping seeing the color codes will motivate him to lowering his sugar. He did well for quite a few years and had everything under control. But in the last couple months his readings have been high and the dr is considering insulin. I need to help him get under control. He has enough other issues and the high readings are not helping those.
Please, visit the discussion on things you would like to see them add to the site here: http://www.diabeticconnect.com/discussions/16...
I think this is a great idea, and if you put it in that discussion they will have the idea there with others that people have added.
Can someone give me the link to the logbook? Please
Go to your profile page. To the right of your picture is a horizontal line of links which starts "Activities". "Log book" it to the right of that link
thank you. I love this. It is better than the one the doctor wants me to use. I am going to be using this from now on. Thank you.
you are most welcome!
I have to agree, being able to see Ryan's numbers in a color format is so helpful. I wish there was a way to adjust the range, cause with Ryan being a juvenal 70 is low for him but normal for an adult.
I agree!! I love the log book feature!
Have you tried printing it. It comes out in a table format, and all the reading for one day are together, but they are out of order…each day is different. But all in all it's a great tool!
No I haven't tried printing it yet, but will be as soon as I get more ink for my printer. It will be a great addition to my diabetes management binder. ;-)
I actually gave a copy to my doctor; he analyzed it and called with med adjustments…no muss no fuss
That is awesome!
