Ryan has been an emotional mess this weekend, this is something new for us. One second he will be fine and be playing then the next he is a total grouch. Moments later he will be playing again like nothing happened. Several times today when asked to do simple tasks he burst into tears for no reason. He just ended his honeymoon phase and is back on insulin his levels are alittle back and forth but no extreme highs or lows. I'm wondering if its diabetes related and something that everyone deals with or if something else maybe going on.

Thank you, its nice to know we arent alone even with the.bad things. We notice that he gets crabby when he is high, but the extreme back and forth was new.

Hey, my daughter was diagnosed almost 3 years ago right before she turned 4. These "mood swings" are perfectly normal for a type 1 kid. You can usually tell when she is high or low because she will just cry spontaneously. That is one of her signs we look for to check her finger.
