If you haven't already, you might ask one or more of our advocates. Lots of good info comes from them. I see you already have some leads from others in this trail of postings. Mays always comes through with good stuff. I wish you the best.

Hope it helps for me with health insurance i still have to pay about $80 per vile i get 6 to 7 for $18 pretty sweet call them they are many pharmacies warehouses if i remember correctly to help people with expensive medication with no health insurance i believe when you call they ask for your taxes or something and they do it automatically they call your doctor and get prescription from them an you dont even need to make s single phonecall. And if you are using the insulin pump like me, call the company that provides the pump and they ship your supply and give you a decent discount i called medtronic and after months of searching they gave me my supply %20 cheaper for cash order then the cheapest place i found in wholesalers and other supply companies and i really hope it works out for you.

Wow @lipos18 that was very helpful, thank you! I just got my preexisting medical condition insurance (no help at all btw) and used it at the pharmacy and my 3 bottle of insulin were still $450, crazy! Thanks again I'm going to look into the site you suggested!

Till i found this it saved my life lol goodluck and make sure u tell your doctor to send 3 month prescription that way you get 3 month supply of ur insulin for the $18.

:) one downfall is you have to be uninsured to get this you cant have it if u have any health insurance :( but u can talk to them they told me once that if insurance is not covering they might make an exception depends if a pharmaceutical company that is participating agrees but they told me mo promises so look into that

Well Thanks but I am still amazed how health insurance in the US turns down the people that most need it for survival.

Yes i have been struggling with health insurance too big time even with my insulin cover my pump supplies and doctor's visits and blood work cost big money but if u work in a big company however and u enroll in their health insurance they do not look at pre-existing conditions since its a group insurance (in other words they get more money!!!)

Is that available only in Florida ?

lipos18 2012-10-19 19:07:58 -0500 Report

Im actually in Michigan there r guidelines u cant make more than certain amount per year and u should not have health insurance. By the way it is not only for insulin it is for thousands of medications. Give it a shot try this
