Apparently how you walk matters in helping diabetes control

I just read this article about a study that was done showing that people with type 2 diabetes can have better control if they walk in intervals. It is fascinating.

I would love to know what all of you think about this new discovery. Would you change your exercise routine if you knew it would help you lose weight or have better blood sugar control?

I have done this in the past and it does work very nicely on my numbers. I did what I called my "Jeopardy" walk. I would walk in place or in a circle during the show. Then during the commercials, I would jog in place. It is amazing how long those little commercials can feel as the end of the show gets close. Since I moved, I have not done this. It is a good reminder for me.
