Hello,i have had type 2 for about a yr. Now and sincce then my dr. Has been pleased with my numbers. For about a month,on the side of my left foot, every once in a while, i feel like someone is sticking a hot poker,in that area,i rub it make a face and it stops. I go next month for a checkup and will tell my dr. But was wondering is this part of my diabetes?? Think you and god bless.

Howdy Nanky.

not sure what that might be but it could possibly be the start of Diabetes related neuropathy. I have burning neuropathy from my knees to toes and tingling neuropathy from elbows to fingertips. My burning neuro started out like electric shocks shooting through my legs making me jump.

The best way to keep neuropathy at bay is to keep your Blocd Glucose (BG) as normalized as possible.
