I thought I would ask the group this broad far reaching statement. There is no right or wrong answer, I just was wanting to know what it was that made diabetes management hard for you. For me (type 1), the matching of insulin to food is probably the hardest, closely followed by the need to minimize the risk for hypos (for the record my A1c is 7 it just takes some work to keep it there :))
Would love to hear your challenges.

The hardest challenge for me was putting meals together by counting carbs. I use to measure each portion. I no longer do this because I usually eat the same kinds of foods. It is when I add something out of the norm that I have to make adjustments.

Hear you on that one! Its even harder if you don't know what makes up the dish isn't it!

Yes it is but I work with it. It is like to eat or not to eat. 90% of the time I don't eat it. Tonight I wanted rice and gravy. I ate both but I did not add anything else with a carb in it. Soooo to that end there are times you have to make adjustments or you just don't eat something with what you have planned.
