I avoid the scale like it was the plague, but this morning I jumped on and nearly squealed like a teeny bopper at a Justin Beiber concert.
Since my T2 diagnosis on the 1st I've lost 40lbs., which is quite exciting.
I'd noticed my cloths fitting looser, but I had no clue I'd lost that much since starting a diabetic diet with the cardiac diet I was already on. Now if I lose 20 more I'll be at my high school weight when I compete in Martial Arts tournaments…if only I could still move like I did back then :-)

Well, it hasn't been fun…before T2 I was diagnosed with a heart condition so I was place on a cardiac diet that restricts fats and salt, after T2 was added a diabetic diet, so over all my caloric intake as been reduced to around 1,200 calories so yeah, no fun LOL

Nice work! I know how motivating dropping a size can be! Keep it up.
I bet your numbers are getting better too, right?

They're way better than they had been, though I've been waking in the mornings to numbers in the mid to low 60's, but after breakfast they jump right back up to a "normal" range.
