Hello, welcome to the site:) You would still eat, and take your meds as usual. You might need to have your meds adjusted. Take your log book to your dr and let him help you get on track.

Mine are never that high in the morning and even if it is a little high, I eat protein or something high in fiber. You still should eat something. You have very good normal range numbers. Try eating a snack with protein before bed and see if that helps.

Welcome to DC! I eat something in the morning, but my meal is usually loaded with veggies and protein.when time allows I will cook a veggie omelette, if my BG reading is a little low, I will eat a piece of apple to go with breakfast. If your numbers are within range you should try to balance lean protein with nutritious high fiber carb. That's why I eat apples. Hope this helps since I am a T1 sometimes meals have to be covered with fast acting insulin, so I stay low carb! You will find great discussion regarding meal ideas here!

Good morning and welcome! Your normal bg #s are great, so no problem there. I notice that my fasting levels often jump if I have not eaten a protien based snack later in the evening, your basic "liver dump" - and yes, I think you should go ahead and eat! A regular meal schedule is important for all of us, to maintain healthy levels. You didn't mention whether you take any meds - you need to keep on a schedule with them, as well. However, as usual, the "real" answer comes down to - if you have a concern or question - ask your doctor!
