Binge eating

Ever had one of those days where you binge eat like no tomorrow. I have been doing that for the past few days. I haven't checked my blood sugar much but i feel ok for the most part.

Anyone else have those kind of days? How do you get yourself back on track?

i do the same thing… some days all i want to do is eat then others i look at food an want to throw up.. i dont know why.. havent had many binge days lately though…

I don't worry when we occasionally go to Ci Ci's pizza, their pizzas are really tiny, extremely thin and I can have a few slices, and I always eat some salad first, and I love it, it doesn't make me go very high at all, as long as portions are watched and it seems that place has the thinnest crust I have ever seen. at home once in a while when I get takeout pizza for my children, I will eat about 3 slices, of the very thin crust kind with all the veggies they have.everyone is different, but I don't ever deny myself all this stuff every time I am around it, that is how I cope with it best. Sometimes just eating something healthy before being exposed to one of your favorite 'bad' foods, helps a lot.

I did that yesterday. First day I have really felt like eating since I caught a cold. I was really upset with myself for doing that. I started out my day with breakfast and later a snack. I missed lunch and grabbed a container of yogurt then ate dinner. I will be back on track fully tomorrow.

Every now and then some of us may binge eat, graze or troll the cabinets for food. I know I do it if I don't eat enough for my normal meals. I actually add more meat or veggies to prevent this.

Thats a very hard thing to get over when you know you've eaten way too much! My doctor told me to eat small meals during the day and make sure I have that snack before bed & that should slow me down on the binging but I noticed that if I miss a meal I do get really hungry I mean really really hungry! So my suggestion is always make sure you eat those smaller meals during the day…& pray for me cause Im still a work in progress lol
