Here is a conversion table that converts the blood glucose numbers from the U.S. standard to the International standard.

People from outside the US may find this table convenient for converting US blood glucose values which are given in mg/dl into values generated by their blood glucose meters, which are generated in mmol/L.

here's a calculator I have shared with many to determine the differences between the two systems of metering ~

you'll need the converter to determine the value of your readings from Joslin's website and apply them to your own situation in terms to which you can more easily relate. Find that information from Joslin here ~

I pray you'll find these resources useful enough to bookmark them for future reference.

Praying God's richest blessings upon you and yoursw

Hi :) I assume you are giving A1C #s… so 10 equates to a BS of 212 and 9 equates to a BS of 183. Below is a link that gives you this conversion chart in a printable format.

Hope this is helpful :)

Actually I had taken that for granted also, a long time ago.

However you will see she is from Canada and the USA has a Blood Glucose metering system which is different from most of the rest of the world.

Check out the calculator I posted to I have diabetes above and perhaps bookmark it so you may compute the differences between the two systems.
