Anyone find a diabetic kit bag that does not look like a woman's purse? Found some online but they all look too much like purses. Can't find one for men. Tired of toting my small plastic tub with me.

I'm just starting out. My Doc wants me to check my glucose 3x a day. So I'm looking for ways to carry a meter kit. Admittedly, I am a bag nut; briefcases to pouches. One of my fav sites is http://www.e-bags.com
Thank you all for some good ideas to start with. I esp. like the camera case idea. I'm looking for something small to keep in a briefcase. I'll report back on what I find that works for me.

I use a Maxpedition FR-1 most of the time and a Maxpedition Janus attached to the diaper bag (versipack) when I'm hauling the baby around.

My husband uses a backpack made for computers. They are padded/insulated and stay pretty cool even when left in his truck. They come in different sizes, the one for a notebook works well.

should have asked, what do you carry??? the bag I got with bayer contour is just right and it clips onto your belt. I only test once a day and do not have to carry any supplies with me.

I test 2 to 3 times a day. Take meds in the morning and evening and a shot at night. I carry my small plastic tote with me and leave it in the car for now. Probly not good for my insulin pin though. I have a small soft cooler bag I could use until I find something better. I can take it with me when on the go.

So you could use something with you throughout the day. I also noticed camera bags that could accomodate your needs and they do not look girlie:)

I saw an army messenger bag that was in different sizes in a Sunny Surplus type store. I thought of buying one but that would make me carry two purses. However, it would be great for traveling.
