I need carb charts

Hello. I was handed my metformin last Thursday on Aug 23. My diabetic seminar is Sept 16. I have a basic knowledge of what to do, I need the charts for carb, protein, and fiber counts. I have found a few online that don't give me what I need. Can anyone share some good links?

Thank you all for your help. I cook from scratch and need info on raw food like vegetables and fruit. I also cook vegetables in a soup style, everything in one pot. Fruits often go into the blender for smoothies. These charts will make it easier to figure out just what I am consuming!

All foods sold in a package have a label listing all the info needed. For something with out a label I use this site. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/nut-and-s... Just type in the food you want to analyze and it gives you all the info.

This is such a great resource!! It is so much more than just calories, fat, fiber, protein, and carbs, you can find out much more. I love being able to see if a food is antiinflammatory and seeing all the vitamin/nutrients too

I use an app called carbs control. It has almost all whole foods and prepared foods found in your grocery, plus most all fast food and chain restaurants out there. Very handy!

The ADA - American diabetes association- also provides free newsletters & other info about meals & carbs.

It looks like gomeals.com only refers to the app. My Fitness Pal does have a corresponding web site & Sparks People does too.

If you want apps, Go Meals is great. The other I use is My Fitness Pal. Both include restaurant foods too. You get values for carbs, fats, proteins, fiber & more.

I love my fitness pal. Have lost 10 pounds using it since it also keeps up with calories as well as other stuff and keeps me accountable.

I don't know if there is something in chart form with those particular information points on it, however if you want to check out a particular food you could go to ~ http://foodpicker.org/ and put the particular food on which you want to check, into the search box toward the top of the landing page.

There are 2 or 3 other nutrition information sites about which I could tell you and would do so should you ask.
