I had the opportunity to sit in on some new things coming and one of them was the acquisition of www.medify.com by Alliance Health.
Medify is a search platform for all kinds of health conditions and the medical publications on the studies, research and alternate treatments. It is more broken down than say a Google search in that it can actually detect the context of what you are asking about. So when you are looking for medical information, you don't end up with sales or junk. It is very precise.
I know so many of us suffer from more than just diabetes and it can be frustrating to get REAL live time working information on what we are searching. This offers studies, shows how many people were in them, what was effective, what is a tending treatment and so much more.
There is a glossary you can use to help you understand the studies a little bit better and the neatest thing is that it is not going to direct you to things that are by a "sponsor" or "advertiser".
One cool feature of the site is also that you can save the studies you find into your profile (on Medify) and keep it for comparisons and future uses to share with others.
I am still learning my way around it. Check it out and let me know what you think of it. You may have to dig a little to find out how much it can do, and I hope you will share your thoughts.
