Howdy Jason
Types 4 and 5 were suggested as a JOKE in the discussion on Alzheimer's & Diabetes here~ http://www.diabeticconnect.com/discussions/16...

Part of that discussion between Jim Edwards and myself devolved into a humorous exchange (at least I intended it as humorous) between him and me. (Yes we do have a little fun on DC). So no worries, there are NOT TYPES 4 or 5 —— YET.

there is type 1.5 (L.A.D.A.) a type M'O.D.Y. (Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young) which has yet to be given a Type number. Who knows? we could have several other types designated in the future. But for now Types 4 and 5 is the result of joking between two old fat guys.

Sorry if this caused you confusion.

Blessings to you and yours

James Baker
