Just read about this new app to help keep track of all the meds we have to take. I haven't tried it yet, but the video looks promising.
It is available for iPhones and Androids.
Thought I would share the find.

I had that app on my Blackberry but not on my new smartphone. It was a pain to use on the Blackberry. Will have to try it on the new phone. I also downloaded the LED Flashlight for my phone and it has so many helpful features. I keep my phone next to my bed so if the power goes out I can use the flashlight and I keep my phone charged as much as possible.

Thanks for sharing that Deana! I don't have a smartphone which uses neither of those platforms, but it might be useful to Suzy Q who has an iPhone. She uses a lot of meds also!

Thanks so much!

James

James I am still getting use to using all of the features on my smart phone so it is currently smarter than me…LOL. I love it much better than the Blackberry.

mine is a Samsung "Rant" but to save on costs, I have the internet/text features shut down, and just use it as a regular cell phone.

Thought of doing that but every time I am in a meeting, I have to text someone to confirm something I am hearing or people in the meeting are texting me to ask questions for them. I also have docs I need or someone has emailed me a doc so I really need those features. I use it as a resource more than a phone.

I do know my 20 something son uses his like that also. There are times I'd like to call up a Mapquest map like he does, but the screen on the rant is so small I don't think I'd be able to see it well.

That is one of the features I love with my droid. I can expand the page to see it. I also like the fact that I can talk. I don't have to type text messages or emails when I need to send them. The problem is spelling corrections and adding words to the phones dictionary.
