How can we make this easier on ourselves'. Maybe look around the house and see if you bought things that you never used, that someone on your list might like better. Go through old clothes take off buttons, patches, anything attached and make wallhangings or stockings on felt with it. Or just try to make your own. Use old yarn and make hats, scarfs and mittens. After all, a home-made gift is always "A gift from the Heart" Anyone else have suggestions to ease the shopping budget woes?

I put things on layaway at K mart. I shop at Wal Mart. Decorations I only had to buy lights this year. Everything else I have had for years. Most of those decorations I bought at yard sales. Some were never opened. Some really expensive balls and garland. I have made christmas ornaments with styrofoam balls and sequins that are really easy to make. I am giving one to people like my landlord, people at hubby's work. I think they are really pretty. Alot of the stores are already having great sales now instead of "Black Friday". Electronic Express is having 1/2 off sale today. That will come in handy if you need electronics. I will be getting the paper on Wednesday to see if I want to stand in line Friday morning. Last year we did and it was a mad house.
