Depending on your frame & build, 211 at 6' sounds okay to me. Perhaps lose another 15 pounds, should be right on.

I kind of thought that, don't know why? I didn't see what type diabetic you are on your profile. I'm a type 1, so I have always been insulin dependent and know how that works with weight. I would be careful trying to go by the written recommended weight per height as it can be so far off. I like to go by visual and clothes comfort instead of the scale. I'm sure your doing fine and just get out and get active and have fun while doing it and you'll get to where you feel you want to be:)

Are you male or female? I think a 6 foot tall male weighs around 185 lbs, but this will depend on the frame/muscles and is by no means an exact number. A female will probably weigh alittle less. You could be at a good weight right now? How do you feel/look, are you happy. You do know that you can be in perfect shape and weigh more then you do now if you have added muscle as they add weight, so don't go by the scale:)

Also, some certified diabetes educators will tell you losing just 7 percent of your weight will have a tremendous impact on your blood glucose numbers, so in that case 15 pounds would be a good first goal for you. Slow weight loss is usually best, 2-3 pounds a month, for permanent weight loss. Good luck!
