Hello everybody, I am due in a few weeks to be de-sensitised as I am having issues with my insulin, I just wanted to know if anyone has had this done or does anyone know what is involved.?

What I was able to find on it sounds like there is an insulin resistance to what you might be taking, thus the "issues" with your insulin. I wonder if what you are going to go through would work for those of us who are insulin resistant but not on insulin?

I remember you telling me about it Relly, in another recent inbox , but I did not make a Google query about it, until just now.

There is an article from the ADA which came up as a result: It is quite dry and is obviously written to a medical clinician's understanding and (for what it is worth to you) may be read here ~ http://diabetes.diabetesjournals.org/content/...

There were other responses to the query, "insulin de sensitized" which may be viewed by going here ~ http://www.google.com/webhp?source=search_app... However the results are mixed, and most of it difficult to understand.

I have no idea what this may be, but wishing you good luck with this! Hope you are able to balance your insulin, as well!
