I was using the Relion Prime meter and strips from mid 2015 to beginning of 2016 but i started to notice that my results were always a bit off from the readings at my doctors. My doctor recommended i go with the One Touch Ultra test strips and meter but advised me they would be more costly then relion. I searched and searched online to find the cheapest price and found the site https://www.diabeticwarehouse.org . There prices were almost $15 cheaper than a lot of the other stores. I was able to buy 1 box of 50 strips of the onetouch ultra for $39 and when i received the strips 3 days later i gave it a shot and they have been so very accurate ever since. I am so happy i decided to switch brands because who knows how many times i was recording the incorrect blood glucose readings.

Walmart does have the better prices for the test strips if you don't have insurance. From time to time CVS or Walgreens has meters and at times they have coupons meters and test strips.
