I was on the Illinois Medicaids' websites page and came across this question with their answer. Wouldnt hurt to try right?

If I do not qualify for medical assistance, can you help or refer for medications?

I'm responding to Mommy's mistreatment by her doctor. This is totally unacceptable and my advice is to stand up and talk back. I'm a patient advisor and this is a new one on me. An abusive doctor is probably more likely to behave this way with female patients. The other alternative is to change doctors.

i found these as well, this one is thru American Diabetes Association

This is thru Accucheck

This is thru Needy Meds

this is CAP, helps with diabetic supplies and meds

These are some that I found while looking for information since my hubby and I were only diagnosed in April. Hope these help someone.

Accucheck helps with insulin and insulin pump if my memory serves me correct.

I have togetherrxaccess. But I never use it, as the pharmacy and generics end up costing me less. I believe it is run through at the county level?
