Hello my friends, I am sorry it has been such a long time since I have posted but quite a bit has been going on in my life and I am FINALLY at a point where I can take a breath. Things have been going fairly well for me, My numbers are close to being right (lol), Work and the heat have been draining me horribly but thats all part of life, and my family is doing well. I really dont think I could ask for more right about now. My thought of the day ( this is something I have been working on) is this, How can I be grateful today for the blessings I have in my life. When I say this I dont mean the big ones like I am thankful I have a job to go to, but rather I am thankful I am ABLE to go to my job. I have many things to be grateful for such as my loving family firmly standing beside me while dealing with diabetes. I find that I tend to overlook the small blessings in my life and focus on the many obsticles that I face daily. I am eternally grateful that I have this group to lean on when things get tough, It has changed my life. So today please try to find a positive to think about it can help you make it through till tomorow. ok enough of my rambling I wish you all peace today.

You are so right…by listing all of your blessings, you remind yourself of all you really do have to be thankful for. I try to do this each day, thanking God for the gift of this day, first thing every morning…puts things into perspective.
