You know I saw this in a magazine article today, and it got me thinking; I never do that! I bet it will feel good, and I tried when I was talking to my husband, and guess what? It does, make you feel good; esp. since he commented
that "he never sees me laugh". So try it and let me know how it makes you feel!

Everyone here is right. I was always laughing and a jokester. Since my long past year and a half of illness, I feel I lost all that quality. But I have been laughing and joking again. It does make me feel 100% better. Yes that right I said, 100% better. There is not much to laugh about these days, but there should be something that could make you smile. What a differences even a smile could bring…Debe

With the new year fast approaching, anyone have a reason to laugh out loud.

You betcha …go onto you tube and watch our military guys making the best of a terrible situation. They aren't sitting around talking about the snipers that are shooting at them or the insurgents that are trying to kill them they are dancing, laughing and having a wonderful time. They are just babies… yet they have learned that there is always something to be happy about sometimes you just have to look around you and you will see that your situation is not near as desperate as those that surround you. I believe I would rather be sitting here dealing with my diabetes than dealing with what those men deal with each day. Be thankful they are keeping us safe from harm so that we can fight our small battles here at home. Think happy thoughts and you will find something to laugh out loud about. I spent all night enjoying these wonderful men in uniform.

Thanks so much for that post; we should definitely remember that there are young men and women in the service fighting to save our life. And that they are trying to make the best out of a horrible situation. Claudia

I had to typoe it in. What a good thing to watch. They deserve so much for everything they are doing not only for our country, but for us personally. My entire family: Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends are big in doing for our servicemen and woman. My cousin is a chairperson in PIttsburgh and was given numberous awards by President Bush for everything she has done. I have a website is you like to check out her video…Debe

I agree! Nothing makes me feel better than a good laughing session.

2008-11-23 06:22:21 -0600 Report

I am trying, it has always been hard for me to smile and laught, maybe it is my past life issues, or maybe it is the fact that I always cover my mouth, because I really do not like to show my face when I talk. I have always had an issue with self-confindence. Maybe, I should try even harder to lol; luv:->)

GabbyPA 2008-11-22 20:45:16 -0600 Report

there is a whole yoga style that focus' on laughing and interaction. The endorphins are released and make you feel good no matter if you are lauging in a genuine manner or a fake laugh. Funny how we can fool our bodies. So if we can fool it with thinking bad thougths, why not fool it with good laughter.

Yes it does, I know I don't do it enough either. But when I do my family also makes comment. We just need to remember that it does work wonders for us.
