Here is the $10,000,000.00 question.
Who is responsible for your health?
Whenever I attempt to answer a question posted by anyone here on Diabetic Connect, or any of the other Connect Community sites, I do so based on facts, not personal feelings, just the facts.
I do not give out any information based on my personal experiences (without noting such) because diabetes is a personal disease, one thing I do know is that my diabetes is different than yours!
Diabetes is an individual's disease, and your treatment for diabetes should be catered to you as such.
You will always find links (multiple ones at times) included for a reason, so that you do not have to take my word for anything that I submit, check it out for yourself!
Am I a know it all?
Far from it, but I do not believe in giving out false, undocumented information, that type of information can, and will always be the most harmful type.
Do a little research, if I am wrong tell me, or better yet, prove it to me!
Direct me to your source of information.
I have no problem accepting being corrected on any subject at any time.
You have a medical team for a reason, ask them questions, that's what they are there for, you pay them for their services.
We live in a great age for communication, you can find out whatever it is that you need to know, all it takes is a little time, energy, research and maybe some money, but isn't it worth it?
I do the preliminary research and fact finding so that you do not have to, so before accepting anything, even if it does come from me…(LOL), do your own research on the subject:
Helping others, helps me to be a productive member of the human society!
