Everyone is out and about like little bumble bees with vacations and avoiding the heat. Everyone it is great to work out but please keep your safety in mind. The heat is brutal on us all. Remember to keep your water close and your snacks closer to maintain your BG levels. Every minute, every step counts. Every trip to the mailbox or that extra walk thru the mall or the knee bends and tush stretches count. Pat yourself on the shoulder and be proud, because as long as you're moving, you're beating the battle of the calories. For all of you who read and watch but never come in…just pop in and say hi. We welcome all new comers. LQQKING forward to hearing from you :D

Update. I am up to 2.17 miles in 30 minites on the tread mill. Tread mill 30 minutes 6x a week. Also started toning with weights. Miss you all. Good luck to all and have a blessed week. Lots of love Tommy.:):):)

20 kids playing red light/ green light. I tried to avoid them and BAM!!! fell face first. They all stopped, I smiled and got up and went home. but now my entire right side is either swollen or cut. But I still got 15 mins of walking in. It took that long to get to my car and it was a uphill walk.LOL.

Here I am middle of the week pushing and panting. Ive been a bit tired this week, but am working hard to keep up! I am getting ready to start a 50 minute cardio, ttyl!

hey, that walk around my daughter's block while my granddaughter road her bike was much easier this morning than it has been! Things may be getting better here! We might be trying the water park again this afternoon!

Was able to get in a 30 minute workout on Monday morning, was a bit tired through the day so didn't push for anything else. It's getting close to that crazy time of month and for some reason my energy is zapped for a few days! I do however push myself because I feel better! Good luck my friends!

Had another mall walking day with my group home girls yesterday. Also met the afternoon person and planned an outing to visit the dolphins in the ocean on our western beaches. Hope admnistration approves it. Would be a wonderful activiity for all of us.

Keeping it positive on the Dolphin adventure. :D Good job on the mall. I plan to crash the mall walkers again this week when I am comfortable with the new coursework for school. I know they think that they ran me off. LOL

Well, we finished the storm damaged yard and cleaned up all those trees etc. Stacked the wood, used the chipper for all the debris and it is done. We still have to rake the yard, it is still a mess. But the downed limbs were the big task and call me one tired lady! Hubby too!

I took the plunge, well a baby plunge and I tried on a pair of boots that I purchased but couldn't get past my calves. No amount of bargaining with the lord was going to get those boots past my ankles. But I tried them on for the heck of it and they made it! And after a few minutes I could still feel my circulation so that's a good thing too, LOL. Next stop…the black jeans ladies…

Yay!! Doesn't it feel great to try something on that previously didn't fit and now it does.
I waited to long to try on a pair of black jeans & a pair of gray jeans, now they are too big! ;-)

I'm with you Somoca! Boots and calves wow, what an accomplishment! I agree with you when I am moving I feel great, so on to a new week. Gotta tell you my hubby and I went to to the town fiestas this weekend. I allowed myself a frito pie even if I didn't eat all the fritos. We loved the music and danced for about 2 hrs. Straight. Had a blast and even had to sip on a root beer soda because of the exercise. So without planning had a great workout, look out wedding here I come!

Wow Set. You were able to exercise, enjoy a weekend AND spend time with the hubby. Sounds like a WIN WIN weekend lady. AWESOME!!!!! I love root beer soda myself, :D
