This is from "Healing Gourmet Magazine" (online) which I just received in my yahoo inbox.

read "eight good reasons why you should add this amazing oil to your cooking repertoire. I’ll show you the many ways it trumps olive oil and why avocado oil is the “gold standard” of cooking oils. " read it here ~

Has anyone heard of or used this oil yet?

Praying for your improving health!

Thanks James for the articule..It's interesting Dr Berstein, in his book lists the avocardo as the only fruit he recomends that is OK to eat

I have not really looked into it, but after reading this I am curious. I have added coconut oil and grapeseed oil to my list. Now this is VERY interesting. It runs about as much as olive oil are a lot to choose from so finding one that is affordable and good quality is the next step.

Does anyone know it's life after it is open? Like olive oil can take a hit once the air starts to mix with it. That is one reason I switched to grapeseed oil, plus the price.

I love this part of the article on Avacado Oil:

It isn’t important that you understand the biology of oncology. But it is important that you understand that the foods you eat make a big difference. And avocado oil – with its unique mix of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant nutrients – is a cancer-fighting superfood.

But avocado oil doesn’t just help guard against cancer. It actually helps your body kill existing cancer cells, according to recent research published in Nutrition and Cancer. In healthy cells, avocado oil reduces inflammation and oxidation. But in cancer cells, active compounds in avocado actually trigger programmed cell death (apoptosis), reducing the number of cancer cells.

Very, very interesting…
I have to do some research into this.
James, thanks for the heads up on the site!
