ive drank coffee since i was 14 or 15 years of age.and i started out useing suger..then i stoped puting any kind of sweetner of any kind into it 4 years ago..took a lil getting use to.but i got use to it all tha same.and i enjoy my morning coffee all the you might try not useing splenda or any thing else with your coffee for a week or so to see if thats it.and if it is.ask your doctor what you might be able to use if you prefer a sweetner..

I get a little spike and that's due to my sugar free creamer that's not sugar free..I have to have my coffee :-)

Some say coffee lowers their Blood Glucose (BG) levels, others claim it has no effect, or a minimal effect on BG levels, I have discovered that one 8 oz c of straight black coffee (no sweetener, no creamer) will raise my BG 30 pts. But I stay away from it due to my kidney problems. (it is either water only or go on Dialysis)

Mine do go up a little, but have given up a lot since D! So I will continue to enjoy it. I limit myself and drink warm water with lemon on the side!

I'm sure that you will receive a number of responses. I no longer use any of those colored envelopes. I use only NuStevia and have for a few years. It works great for me. If you haven't tried it, maybe look into it?

I have problems with coffee because it severely dehydrates me and when i am dehydrated i get higher BGs…whenever i feel like drinking coffee i try and compensate by drinking extra water…
