Here are two books that are very interesting, and in my opinion, must haves for every diabetic or caregiver.

If you have the chance to check them out please do so, the more informed we are about diabetes, the better we will manage it.
As Sy Syms always said in his television commercials, " An educated consumer is our best customer."

I got both books for 3 bucks from a book dealer at our Flea Market. He never charges me full price so I don't know what the actual cost is. They are in my stack of "when I have time to read these" books.

They are both good reads, and yes you can get them cheaper by shopping around. If can't afford them then see if the library has them, if not request that they get them. So may people forget about the library with all the gadgets now days. It's a nice walk to get to one, and if too far from home, then park a few streets away and walk to it and back, it helps get the exercise in as well as some sun. Who knows what you might see and run into along the way:) No, I'm not a librarian, just love to read.

As always, thanks for both the advice and for taking the time to comment on this discussion…and I agree, visiting the library is a great place to find a book, as well as a way to get in a bit of physical activity!
