Cheeries have must entered my valley. I ate eight to day, and was surprised to me at 191. Never, ever that high. Finally after about 5 -6 hours, back to the more normal 112. Are they that bad for us, or could something else be going on. I am usually between 91 and 112. What's up?

It was amazing to me too, foods I always thought good for me, suddently no good for me and caused my bg#'s to soar. Seems to be a trial and error cking of ea thing ea day…not much continuity with D for me.

After I was diagnosed and was testing bs I learned that as much as I love nearly every fruit grown, I can't eat them. I can eat one grape or a segment of an orange, something like that. But if I eat a whole piece of fruit my numbers go ballistic !!! So, except for a few small bites here and there, I really haven't eaten fruit on almost 3 years. Bummer but such is life.

What's up could be several things. Was that all you ate, just the cherries? If you did that on a fairly empty stomach, that would be just like shooting the sugar straight into your vein. Taken with a bit of yogurt, or as a dessert after a lunch salad, the effects I suspect would be much different. Combinations raelly have an effect on foods I've found.
