I am glad to be in the planning stages of going to visit family in IL. in September. It's so pretty up there. My son and his wife invited me and my husband to go visit my Dad. My son is doing a geneology on our family tree. Wants to find out some things. We need to go see my Dad anyway. I am glad that we are able to go. It's just something to look forward to. Now my son is off for a 3rd deployment in the U.S. Navy until than. I am needing this time and a break. I hope this can work out with us having to move also in September. But I can't pass up a trip like this one. Do you blame me? I haven't seen Dad since 2009. That is to long.

Anna, enjoy your trip. When your dad is gone from this world you would be kicking your self if you didn't go and spend some quality time with him.

I am planning to go to OH in July for a family reunion and spend some time with my mom. I also want to introduce my new gf SuzieQ to her.

I lost my dad at age 19 (I'm 60 now) so I know how it is to lose my dad.

Treasure your time with him.

Blessings to you and yours!

James

Thanks, lol, I hope your visit is good and the introduction of you SuzieQ is a fabulous one! I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I didn't grow up with mine. But now we have today to enjoy the visits why we can. Thanks :)

I already met SuzyQ earier in May in the hospital and in her rehab facility for about 3 days. That was enough for us to know that we wanted to see more of each other. She got out of the rehab facility just today. I have to see my kidney Dr on 6/11 then I will hopefully be able to fly out to her and have much more time to spend with her.
