Hi. I went to a site called HealthTap, which I found from another use, where someone mentioned that foot problems can occur (http://bit.ly/NkM8ZW)
I was wondering how do people address issues with diabetes causing foot problems and how does diabetes relate to foot problems?

My feet are always cold and the big toes are numb. My Dr kept blowing me off when I would talk about them. She would check my pulse and that was it. I finally looked online to find the causes of this. It turns out that the A1C level causes this problem. The article stated that high A1C levels make this problem much worse.

Howdy Mark

There are a lot of problems which People with Diabetes (PWDs) can have with their feet. There is a multi page article on Medicine Net which tells about the various types of problems we may have with our feet here ~ http://www.medicinenet.com/foot_problems_diab...

And there is an article from WebMD which speaks to how to prevent most problems. See that here ~ http://diabetes.webmd.com/foot-problems?page=2

It may not solve all the problems PWDs may have with their feet but it should avoid most of the common ones
