I was surprised to find a number of things that we talk about as being healthy breakfast foods on the DLife slide show illustrating how they really are not healthy. I'm pretty food savy, but had to do some real thought about a couple of them.

I won't spoil your appetite for knowledge by listing a couple of them, but do check out the slide show. It's really quite informative.

thanks for sharing that Carol!

I do prefer to have a show on what is good to eat for breakfast rather than what to avoid (both are needed of course).

I noted that on the last slide of the slide show from dLife. there was a link to a slideshow on "Smart Starts: 7 Days of Healthy, Low Carb Breakfasts". That may be found here ~ http://www.dlife.com/dlife_media/diabetes_sli... .

Thanks, James. Yes, I saw it too, but I just wasn't as impressed with it. This one deals with some breakfasts that I think are fairly common and very miscalculated w/r/t carb counts. That is good prevention knowledge to have. As you read each slide it does tell you how to make them a good or at least better breakfast, so that information is there also.
