Monday, May 28th, 2012 is Memorial Day. This day initially originated in an effort to commemorate the fallen soldiers of the Civil War. Now, Memorial Day honors all of the courageous Americans that have served - and are serving - their country, and those who have died in past wars. We want to take this opportunity to thank those who have served and protected the United States. We recognize their gallant efforts and appreciate their contribution to making our country what it is today.

If you ever have questions regarding what memorial day means and how it came to be a national holiday please see the Q&As here ~

Praying that all y'all have a meaningful memorial day!

My birthday was yesterday and usually close if not on part of memorial weekend. The conditions most people serve in is less than desirable
They do it for you and for me. My freedoms that are so many compared to other countries make my birthday pale in light of whats done. I must say thank you and God keep you!
