I've just been reading the posts on insurance in America and my heart goes out to all of you who don't have and can't get insurance. I'm not diabetic but I do have RA and one of my RA drugs, just one of them, mind you, without insurance, costs almost $1500 a month. I honestly don't see how anybody can afford to buy medicines and food at the same time. I don't have any answers but I want all of you to know that my prayers are with you and I'm also praying that the new administration will bring some much needed change to healthcare in our county.
God bless you all!

your right with the cost of medications and food many of us are choosing between the two of them. however there is a answer to the problem,we need to look to the other world countries like germany, france, belgium, sweden, and canada and how they are doing which is quite good with their healthcare.we can have universal healthcare here also but we must ALL DEMAND our elected officals vote for universal healthcare. m.b.
