I read the beginning article on Diabetes Health. For those of us who are experiencing the complications of neuropathy ,please read the articles.

Anyone who experiences neuropathy has my profound empathy and sympathy. I wanted to share, because I was hopeless for a long time, but there is a possibility for relief. I tried everything, to no avail. I finally went on Lyrica and Nucynta ER. I also started yoga and slowly use a recumbent bicycle. Finally, I had a nerve block, which is an injection directly into specific nerves.

All of these words are intended to let you know that I finally have relief. I wasn't even aware how much being in constant pain affects your personality until it ended. I have slight discomfort on occasion. Otherwise, I am entirely out of pain.

Perhaps you can talk to your doctor about some of these, or other, options. Limited exercises and controlling your BG also help.

I hope each and every one of you find relief from this condition.

I could not find the Neuropathy article, but here is a link to the site in general. A lot of good stuff in there.

thanks Gabby. Once there I searched on Neuropathy and found this title "Neurologists Issue New Guideline for Treating Neuropathy" (the link may be found here ~ ) perhaps if Forsakes alive could let us know if that was indeed the article it would be appreciated!
