My husband has had 2 episodes to where he sat down and could not get up for the loss of movement in his shoulders and legs. The first time was about 2 weeks ago and the most recent was Sunday. Both took over 4 hours for him to regain strength enough to move from sitting to standing and then walking. He had no warning that this was happening until he tried to get up and stand. He doesn't hurt in his legs or shoulders. He saw Dr. and they did CAT scan, blood work and back and neck xray. All test were normal. He is a kidney dialysis patient and has been a diabetic for about 20 years and is 42. I thought it could have been sodium levels but Dr. thinks could be neuropathy. We have an appt with a neurologist first of June. Any thoughts would be apprieciated.
