You do not have to always reply, but sometimes the titles are related to the person posting, but you may not realize what is in there that you can take away from their posts. Sometimes just reading posts and not looking for a specific title, can be very uplifting or beneficial to your needs.:->)marm

While we are asking dumb quesions; duh, who does the ratings and how are they earned per post..I just find it interesting. Cause I had a post this morning; and only a few mented later it had 100 percent helpful; was it a mistake or what.

I have a lot of problems with the tags too, but I usually add to who it is most helpful to first, and add on if there is any further interests for people. :->)

Here's a way to think about using tags. Imagine a good reference book all about diabetes. In the back, you'd hope to find a good index with all the key words you might want to find inside the book.

That's kind of what the tags are for. If you'll tag your posts with key words that the post is about, then others can use the tags to find all the posts about a particular topic—just like the index in the back of a book.

I hope that makes sense.

I enjoy reading all the discussions. I only perticipate if it deals with me. I like seeing how other friends are dealing with all their situations. Although I don't deal with all the discussion I still read them. It is always a learning experience for me. I have not leave this site 1 day without learning something new. Thank you all my friends here.

Thank you for posting this thread. I'm new to the site and I have a question that I can't find an answer to.
What are the points for? Silly question I know but I've noticed that I receive points when I post and on my friends page.and just wondered what they were for.

I agree that there is a lot to see that other people have already been through or maybe you have already been through that you can offer your help with and the people are wonderful; always willing to help. Just, sometimes I end up reading and posting to the same people and tend to forget about the others', Sometimes I will just answer with a personal message; but, I want everyone to know; you are all my friends. /And I am trying harder than ever to read new peoples post and discussions every day.

I sometimes do discussions, and sometimes reply, but I tend to read most of the discussions just for the fact that I can learn about what other people are going through,,and how they handle the differn't situations, this site is very informative, and the friends are true friends. ROBERT

I did this over a couple of days when I first joined. That is how I knew this site was for me. Very informative, motivational and very uplifting.
